Actor Bradley Cooper and supermodel girlfriend Irina Shayk have ended their four-year-relationship according to a report from People Magazine. The 44-year-old Cooper and 33-year-old Shayk began dating in 2015 and share a daughter together.
Rumors circulated about the two’s relationship hitting a glaring rough patch during Cooper’s filming of A Star is Born (also his directorial debut), with signs pointing towards Cooper and co-star Lady Gaga’s sizzling on-screen chemistry and very public friendship. Gaga made it very clear the work relationship between the two was not the source of Cooper and Shayk’s relationship issues.
“Yeah, people saw love, and guess what? That’s what we wanted you to see,” Gaga said in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel. “I mean, this is a love song, ‘Shallow.’ The movie, A Star Is Born, it’s a love story. We worked so hard. We worked all week on that performance.”
“They are miserable together,” a source told Page Six in the weeks leading up to the split. “They have been for months. He doesn’t drink and is into spirituality. She wants to go out.” The source added, “She went to Ibiza by her herself for a party that [celebrity photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott] threw.”
Cooper and Shayk are “amicably working out how to share custody of their daughter Lea De Seine, who they welcomed in March 2017,” reported People.
