The chorus for Cardi B’s upcoming single “Press,” which drops at midnight tonight, might emphatically state “Press, press, press, press, press/ Cardi don’t need more press” but that’s exactly what the twenty-six-year old hip hop diva will be getting after the public catches wind of what she’s wearing — or not wearing to be more specific on the album art.
The “Press” art features a black and white photograph of an agitated-looking Cardi, fully nude (though censored), peacock tattoo on her hip brazenly exposed, making her way through a throng of photographers. Previous teasers for “Press” featured Cardi in an animal-print jumpsuit, handcuffed in similar fashion to serial killer Aileen Wuornos in one of her infamous photographs.
Update: Cardi announced her latest single with the following message: “PRESS IS OUT NOW ON ALL PLATFORMS! Thanks for the love ❤️”
Do you think Cardi has a right to be upset with the press for often depicting her in a bad light? What do you think of Cardi’s latest single, “Press”? Let us know in the comments.
