It appears the hot water that actress Roseanne Barr got herself into, including being written off her own ABC channel Roseanne-reboot The Conners, isn’t water under the bridge yet.
While discussing the topics of Harvey Weinstein and the #MeToo movement on far-right activist commentator and political activist Candace Owen’s podcast, The Candace Owens Show, Roseanne had this to say about the #MeToo movement:
“It’s because they’re hos,” she said on The Owens Show. “If you don’t run out of the room and go, ‘Excuse me, you don’t do that to me,’ and leave, but you stayed around because you’re like, ‘Well, I thought maybe he was going to give me a writing job,’ well, you aren’t nothing but a ho.”
“[They’re] pretending that they didn’t go to trade sexual favors for money,” Barr went on to say. “[These] women are pissed because they weren’t attracted to the guy that did it.”
Is Roseanne right to disparage certain followers of the #MeToo movement? Sound off in the comments.
