“I sound like a broken record every time I break a record.”
Last week’s “Killshot,” the highly anticipated retaliation diss to Machine Gun Kelly’s “Rap Devil” earned a record 38.1 million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours of its release on Friday, making it the highest viewed hip-hop video debut and third-highest music video debut in history (behind only “Idol” by BTS and “Look What You Made Me Do” by Taylor Swift). As of this writing, the song sits at over 80 million views and counting.
Machine Gun Kelly’s response thus far? An IG post of himself wearing the “Killshot” single artwork t-shirt, along with the caption, “he missed.”
“Killshot” is now available on iTunes and Apple Music streaming platforms.
